Our mission

The Jerome Preservation Society is dedicated to the conservation and stewardship of Jerome's historic and cultural heritage. Through advocacy, education, and community involvement, we aim to preserve the town’s unique architectural legacy, vibrant history, and natural beauty for future generations. By fostering awareness and collaboration, we strive to ensure that Jerome remains a living testament to its rich past while embracing the sustainability and vitality of its present and future.

Merchandise

Profits from the purchase of Jerome Preservation Society merchandise directly benefit the Society in their efforts to help build and maintain programs like “Residential Restoration & Rehab”, “Copper Beneath the Surface” and “Copper Chief”.
Merchandise is created with the help of local artists. If you are local to the Jerome area and would like to collaborate on artwork, merchandise, or other fundraising and community efforts, we would love to hear from you about your ideas!

How you can help with donations

Assorted colorful gemstones and raw crystals on a wooden surface.

Help with local needs through a one time monetary donation towards our Residential Restore & Rehab Program, or through the donation of time, labor or materials for a community project.

Help with local needs through ongoing monetary donations - quarterly, semi annual or annual. These donations will be used according to whatever programs and community needs arise.

Just as Jerome’s prosperity once came from the copper hidden beneath the surface, Copper Beneath the Surface is a quiet way to support neighbors in need — without recognition, but with lasting impact.

Donating hardware

We need more than just the people, we need hardware and tools to help rebuild, repair and maintain properties and buildings around Jerome. If you have anything lying around we'd love to help it find purpose again.
